Kaolin Clay Lumps

• Appearance: White to off-white natural kaolin clay lumps

• Whiteness: 75% – 90% (grade dependent)

• L* Value: Up to 93 (premium grades)

• Chemical Composition:

  1. SiO₂: 45% – 50%

  2. Al₂O₃: 32% – 36%

  3. Fe₂O₃: 0.3% – 1.5%

  4. TiO₂: 1.0% – 2.0%

  5. CaO + MgO: ≤ 1.0% combined

• Loss on Ignition (LOI): 12% – 14%

• Moisture Content: ≤ 2.0%

• Plasticity (Water of Plasticity): 30% – 36%

• Shrinkage: 5% – 12%

• Water Absorption: 18% – 22%

• pH (10% slurry): 5.0 – 7.0
